How It Works

When enabled:

• Coupon Popups offers gain credit payout fields
• Admins can define:
• Credit amount (supports decimals)
• Currency (from DBTech Credits)
• When a claim is approved:
• Credits are awarded to the user
• Approval fails if the payout fails (strict mode)
• All payouts are logged and tracked per claim

Safety & Design Philosophy

This bridge is intentionally strict and defensive:

• Claims will not approve if DBTech Credits payout fails
• No credits are ever awarded silently
• No core files are modified
• No data is lost if the bridge or DBTech Credits is disabled
• Payout fields become read-only if DBTech Credits is unavailable

Compatibility & Stability

• Compatible with XenForo 2.3.x
• Compatible with DBTech Credits 6.x
• Designed to survive DBTech Credits upgrades without breaking
• Uses official DBTech APIs (no direct balance manipulation)

Technical Notes

• This add-on only activates when all dependencies are met
• Existing Coupon Pop installs upgrade cleanly
• Removing the bridge does not remove or modify existing offers or claims

Important Notes

• This add-on does not add credits by itself
• It only connects Coupon Popups to DBTech Credits
• Credit payouts require admin approval of claims
